Tumblr, the micro-lifestream blog of sorts on the Web, has unveiled version 3.0 of its Android mobile app, which could help get the attention away from it’s “hanger on top of the television” servers, which has become a major achilies heel.
A brand-new interface greets Android users from the gate. The new Post screen, with its large, colorful icons, is much easier on the eyes; photo browsing has improved when you tap an image, and notifications for multiple blogs now show up all in one place.
The Tumblr experience on Android has stepped up dramatically to match the experience on the Web platform. The features for both platforms are now neck to neck, and the look makes the overall experience not as painful as it’s previous version.
Tumblr for Android 3.0 is available now on Google Play.

I don’t know how many ploepe use what per day, but right now there are 103,917 ploepe on the web, 1,241 on the iphone, and 67 using Android. Those numbers aren’t perfect. And it’s kind of a weird time for us right now, too it’s still pretty early in the morning in Europe, and the US is still at weekend-traffic levels (weekdays are busier).
